The Pilgrim Bandits are a charity originally set
up to help injured Special Forces but expanded over the years to
cover all aspects of the military for troops who have suffered
major trauma, limb loss or PTSD.
More recently the charity is now offering
support to Emergency services personnel (under the Curtis Palmer
program) as well, partly due to former troops who have battle field
injuries have been excellent mentors for Police, Fire and Ambulance
staff coming to terms with their
injuries.
Pilgrim Bandits are not only Seylec's
nominated charity, but Shaun Morgan is their East of England
volunteer coordinator. The Charity is supported by highly decorated
military and emergency service staff and we are lucky to have brave
former soldiers including Ben Parkinson and Ricky Fergusson helping
with the fund raising.
2020 has been a challenging year for all with charities offering more support but with reduced income due to movement restrictions, so if you feel you can help financially or could donate services useful to injured personnel, please do get in touch. We have some Private Ambulance fleets kindly looking .to sponsor and other organisations offering events and services but obviously until the virus is better controlled are still restricted on movements.
